CFP (DEADLINE 28th JUNE)
In the second of a two part theme on technological developments in animation we invite contributions on any aspect of the post digital history of animation.
Topics may include but are not limited to:
– Early computer animation and the development of CGI
– Rotoshopping, mo-cap and virtual puppetry
– Hyper-realism (and the uncanny)
– Digital 2D and web animation
– The 3D explosion
– Visual FX as animation?
Posts of between 300 and 500 words, which discuss any aspect of the above topic are welcome. Contributors are encouraged to include clips and images to support their posts.
